Fue precedido en la muerte por su papá Herminio, madre Araceli, hermanos Manuel, Epigmenio y Lindolfo y hermanas Catalina y Manuela.
Fidel fue un hombre trabajador de gran corazón. Nació en Villagrán, Tamaulipas y desde muy joven buscó emigrar a Estados Unidos, primero de bracero y luego como residente permanente. Fueron jornadas largas y agobiantes en el campo pero esto aseguró un futuro prometedor para toda la familia. Siempre será recordado por ser un hombre de familia y buen amigo y por su forma de incluir algunas frases “célebres” en su vocabulario.
Su esposa, Francisca; sus hijos Petra (Luis), Roberto, Adolfo (Cynthia), Araceli, Leticia (Zak), Dora, Fidel Jr. (Marcy), Rosalva, Juana María (Javier), Sylvia, Sonia (Sonny), Herminio (Amanda) y Francisco; sus hermanos Maria del Refugio y Andrés; nietos y bisnietos, ruegan a Dios por su alma.

Surrounded by his loving wife and family, Fidel passed away in McAllen, Texas on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the age of 89.
He was preceded in death by his father Herminio, his mother Araceli, brothers Manuel, Epigmenio y Lindolfo, and sisters Catalina y Manuela.
Fidel was a hard worker with a big heart. He was born in Villagran, Tamaulipas, Mexico and from a young age looked to emigrate to the United States, first through the bracero program and then as a permanent resident. They were long and tiring workdays but they ensured a promising future for the whole family. He will always be remembered as a family man and a good friend and for his way of including several “colorful” phrases in his everyday vocabulary.
His wife, Francisca; his children Petra (Luis), Roberto, Adolfo (Cynthia), Araceli, Leticia (Zak), Dora, Fidel Jr. (Marcy), Rosalva, Juana María (Javier), Sylvia, Sonia (Sonny), Herminio (Amanda) and Francisco; his surviving sister Maria del Refugio and surviving brother Andrés; grandchildren and great grandchildren, pray to God for his soul.
