Delia was a wonderful and kind hearted lady. She had class and was always dressed to the nine’s. She loved sporting her big sunglasses her nails always done and her clothes always ironed even for just being at home. She occasionally enjoyed an ice-cold beer or her wine. She loved recanting about funny stories about either Sandy or Steffie and their adventures as children or even adults. When mom would drive us anywhere, she would always play her favorite tunes over and over again. She loved her Neil Diamond, Barbara Streisand, & Bee Gee’s. Sunday mornings were so memorable in our home. We always had home made breakfasts, music playing while she was cooking and then getting us ready to go to church. She was an avid dog lover and had many wonderful companions through out her life.
The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel Tamez & DHR Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days. We would like to thank all the family and friends that helped us care for her and never allowed our mother to be alone not one single minute. We are truly blessed to have wonderful family and friends to help us in this time of need. We would also like to thank our dad and his wife Sophie for helping us with mom in whatever we needed.
