She is preceded in death by her father Francisco G. Tello.

She is survived by her loving husband Frank Mendez; her mother Julia Tello; her children Cynthia Jean Karr(Humberto), Sandy Marie Cantu(Omar), Frank Mendez Jr.(Ana L. Valdez), Joe Daniel Mendez(Marissa) and Michael Adam Mendez; and by 12 grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Francisco Tello Jr., Estella Penwell, Hilda Cantu, Sylvia Najera and Odilia Aguinaga.

Visitation will be held today, June 9, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 10:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Service are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel of Mission.
