He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Uribe and two sons, David Jr. Uribe and Brandon Uribe, whom he loved so much. Also survived by his dear mother, Maria De Los Angeles Uribe, his brother, Juan Uribe Jr., and his three sisters, Laura (Bob) Gonzalez, Belinda (Dagoberto) Soto, and Rosina Rodriguez, and many nephews/nieces. David is preceded in death by his father Juan Uribe, & brother Victor Hugo Uribe. He was also loved dearly by so very many friends and people in the workforce.
David was a light in this world. He was a man who set a lasting impression on everyone he met. His contagious laugh and kind eyes warmed the room and brought life to family and social gatherings. He took pleasure in the good things of life, including music, movies, travel, barbecues, and family and friends. David was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was married to his wife of 25 years at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in McAllen. One of his favorite hobbies was playing darts. David was a three-term President of the Rio Darts Association. He received many awards and won numerous state/local dart tournaments and was once ranked nationally in the American Darts Association. He was a great mentor to many dart players in the Rio Grande Valley.
David was thoughtful and caring; a man of sacrifice. His most favorite pastime was to spend quality time with his family. His love and devotion was to his wife and two sons. The memories they shared along with his guidance and wisdom, will continue to carry through the joys and challenges that life has to offer. Although David's passing was sudden, it was according to God's will. The time that he spent in the lives of his loved ones was memorable and full of joy. David made a difference in the lives of many, and his kindness, compassion and charisma will leave an unwavering legacy in their lives.

David's visitation for immediate family only will be held at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission Tx. (3611 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573) on Thursday January 27, 2022 with a rosary for the public to begin at 7pm. A public church service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic church (2201 Martin Ave, McAllen, TX 78504) at 10am Friday January 28th 2022 followed by a public burial at Valley memorial Gardens (3611 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573) at 11am.
