She is preceded in death by her grandparents Alejandro and Maria Estela Cantu; her step-father George Raulston; and by her mother-in-law Maria D. Chapa.
Cynthia is survived by her husband Alberto Chapa; her children Angelique(Raymond Fuentes) Garza, R.J.(Laura) Garza, Roy A. Garza, Matthew Chapa, Marcus N. Chapa, and Nathaniel Chapa; her grandchildren Aria Fuentes, Naylah Chapa, and Mariah Chapa; her mother Irene Raulston; and by her siblings Richard(Rosie) A. Longoria, Maria(Frank) Estela Rodriguez, Juan Chapa, Jose Chapa, Sylvia Chapa, and Vicky Chapa.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Serenity from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Mission at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
