She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Alberta Valadez; and her husband Roberto Martinez.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Jose) Mendez and Irma Martinez; and two grandchildren, Jose Mendez Jr. and Melina (Falcon) Santana; and her sister, cousins, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunt
and friends.
Carmen was a dedicated and hard working nurse for 55 years. She will be greatly missed and will always live on in our hearts.
The visitation will be Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, with a rosary at 7:00 PM.
The funeral mass will occur Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2209 Kendlewood Ave, McAllen, Texas 78501 with the burial to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens.
