Born in Weslaco, he lived most of his life in McAllen and moved to Brownsville in 2011, where he lived the last 11 years. Mr. Espino married the love of his life on December 30, 2006, with love and passion along with his loving wife, Cynthia; they raised their five children. Carlos was a faithful and honest man, and his unique personality made Cynthia fall in love rapidly. Carlos was the life of the party, always with a charming smile, making jokes, and cheering people up. He had a golden heart because he always wanted to help others and never turn his back on those who needed him. Mr. Espino enjoyed working on foreign vehicles, especially Volkswagen and auto systems. -He was an extraordinary mechanic. He also enjoyed eating hotdogs and sweets. Mr. Espino was a family-oriented man; the motive of his life was family. He is going to be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Espino.
Mr. Espino is survived by his loving wife of 15 years of marriage, Cynthia Espino; five children, Krystal Espino, Sarahlee Gomez, Amber Espino, Jaime Dario Gomez, Jakqueline Gomez; three grandchildren, Kaiden King Moreno, Kobe Malakai Moreno, Brycen Amdi Salazar; his loving mother, Blanca Thelma Espino; three sisters, Blanca (Oscar) Escobedo, Hilda (+Julio) Ayala, Leonides “Lilly” (Mike) Monreal; nine nieces and nephews; and extended family.
The visitation will be held Monday, February 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 North Taylor Road, Mission, Texas 78573, with a rosary at 7:00 PM.
The funeral mass will occur Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 900 S 23Rd St, Mcallen, Texas 78501. A burial will occur Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Valley Memorial Gardens, 3605 N Taylor Rd, Mission, Texas 78572.
