Ana is preceded in death by her parents; Castulo Ortiz and Angela Escobedo.
Ana is survived by her beloved husband, Mario Cortez; her son Ciro Valdez (Marisela); her son Jorge Valdez (Hortencia); her daughter Ana Laura Valdez (Francisco); and her son Rigoberto Valdez; her sister Maria del Rosario Terrones.
Mrs. Cortez also leaves 10 grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A visitation for Ana will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a prayer service at 7:00 PM at McAllen Apostolic Assembly Victorious Life Temple, located at 801 E. Cedar Ave, in McAllen, TX. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 9:30 AM, at McAllen Apostolic Assembly Victorious Life Temple in McAllen, TX., followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Valley Memorial Gardens, in Mission, TX.
