Alejandro was selfless, optimistic, and humble. He was a voice to the weak, a justice seeker, companionate to others, and an encourager. He was transparent, loving, gracious, forgiving, funny, loyal, and friendly. The last years of his life, his focus and relationship with our Creator God All Almighty poured out to others in such a way that it touched and transformed their lives. He became God’s vessel of love to those that were unloved. He became a light in the darkness reaching those that had lost hope. He became a brother and a friend to those that had no one. He loved to share the word of God and he shared it with love without judgement.
He was an entrepreneur, extrovert, and a man with a distinctive sense of style. Known affectionately as “Mr. Cool,” he embodied a Mr. GQ look everywhere he went. He loved to learn about the Lord God and enjoyed sharing some of his favorite books authored by Charley Stanley, Tony Evans, and T.D. Jakes. He enjoyed reading, playing sudoku, playing video games, playing basketball and watching movies. He was creative, he enjoyed doing artwork and coloring. He also enjoyed music, and played the saxophone and guitar. His favorite foods were pizza and hamburger and his favorite candy was Hersey chocolate with almonds.
Alejandro’s family was his heart. His mother and children, Adayah and Jayden, were his greatest motivations and most cherished blessings. He enjoyed the holidays and being surrounded by family and friends. He will always be remembered by their nephews and niece as the Cool Uncle that loved to battle with them with nerf guns and bought lots of fireworks for Christmas and New Year for pyrotechnics. He loved to be surrounded by his children, nephews, and niece and be the center of their attention – he was a kid at heart.
Family and friends celebrate his life. His life was a true blessing. His memory a treasure that will never be forgotten. He was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
We look forward to the day we are together again in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ being separated nevermore.
Alejandro is survived by: parents, Maria Luisa Durán, Alberto Chávez; children, Adaya Y. Chávez, Jayden A. Chávez; siblings, Mónica (Eligio) Alvarez, Alberto (Marlen) Chávez; nephews/niece: Arian A. Chávez, Gabriela S. Alvarez, Asael A. Chávez, E. Tzuriel Alvarez, and Adiel A. Chávez.
