The younger brother of my childhood and closest friend.   I ran into Mitch often.  From going to Anaheim stadium to attend a Rams game to debating politics at his brothers  house.  Mitch was always great to be around.  My condolences to his entire family. He will be missed.

Mitch and I were good friends in college and co-chairs in our dorm one year.  The year we were co-chairs we fought a lot about what we wanted to do for the dorm and he used to call me Idi Amin Tainer and I'd refer to him as Ayatollah Williams (it was the late 70s).  We stayed long-distance friends after school though our lives took us in completely different directions and we were in and out of touch through the years.  I am really going to miss him.  Such a lovely man.

I have only 'met' Mitch during 2 teleconference calls of the MAR workgroup the last one not that long ago. I am shocked by his sudden passing away, and want to offer my condolences to his family.
