My Granny Judy was born on December 9, 1931 in New York. She had just celebrated her 84th birthday. On her birthday we sang to her and brought her favorite cake, Strawberry short cake. She told me and my sister that she could "just cry" and that I was a good girl. She was very smart, witty, funny, talented ad beautiful person. She loved to read and write, she also followed many court hearings ad served as a juror in many court cases. In her younger years she lived on a ranch surrounded by horses, she breed them and also was a horse jockey. She won many medals for her talent. To me she was like my second mother. She was always with me guiding me in the right direction, correcting me whe I said something wrong and teaching me about manners, etiquette and anything else she could think of. She loved to teach and watch people succeed. I remember as a child she used to read to me "Madeline Stories" and took me to many book signings. She watched me grow up into a fine young lady (like she Said). She stood by me when I needed support and listened when I needed to be heard. And helped me out when I needed a hand. She told me that she knew that I was the only person that would never leave her side. And I never did, I miss you dearly, but know that you are in a better place. Love Letty
