Jack Benny Wexler, 88, of Westchester, CA, passed away on May 1. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 62 years, Adelle; his beloved parents, Isadore & Celia Wexler; and sisters Ann Falk and Yetta Steiner. He is survived by sons Jeffrey (Ann) and Arthur (Joanne Bronson); grandchildren Sarah (Jackson Baer), Judd, Jared, Debra, and Rikki Werner; sisters-in-laws Esther Ross, Leona Sperling, and Ruth Spector; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was born in Detroit and raised in Santa Monica, and he moved to Westchester with his family in 1967. He worked in merchandising in the consumer electronics industry for many years, including at Craig Corp. Along with Adelle, he was a volunteer for Temples Jeremiah and Akiba and the Westchester Mental Health Guild. He was beloved for his kindness and wit. He delighted in his family, who will miss him terribly.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 3 at Eden Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Temple Akiba of Culver City.
