He was born January 8th, 1954 in Orange, CA.

To Lorando “Lorie” A. Peralta and Eulalia “Lala” Sanchez.

He has 8 brothers, Art, Armando, Carlos, Danny, Richard, Joe, Patrick and Victor.2 sisters Marcia and Lorraine.

Gene was married twice and had 4 children, Richard, Ruben, Danielle and Karen.He was a graduate of San Fernando High School class of 1971 and a graduate of Occidental College class of 1975 with a BA in Economics.Gene started his career in banking working for Security Pacific National Bank, starting as an Operations Manager advancing to a Loan Officer and continuing on as a Vice President Manager. Upon leaving Security Pacific he continued his career as a Loan Officer in Nogales, Arizona.On his return to California, he started a mortgage broker business, SLS Mortgage, which turned into his own tax preparation office of Peralta Tax Service.Gene loved to read, gamble, fish and his “Beatles. Although the most important asset to him was family. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends so that he could entertain them all by telling stories.After battling his diabetes for over 30 years, which included dialysis his parents took him home on April 18, 2015. Gene will never be forgotten as he will live in everyone’s heart.
