Bernard "Bernie" Aronson, age 81, of Canoga Park, CA, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017 (20 Kislev 5778). Bernie was born May 31, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, to Harvey M. and Bess (nee Pershing) Aronson.
Bernie is survived by his beloved wife of 60.5 years, Marilyn Aronson; his children, Bruce (Debbie) Aronson, Leslie Munoz, and David (Victoria) Aronson; his brother, Louis (Cheryl) Aronson; his grandchildren, Candace Aronson, Jenelle (Justin) Ayers, Cameron (Cincere) Aronson, Micayla Aronson, Matthew Munoz, Rebecca Aronson, Emily Aronson, and Zachary Aronson; his great-grandchildren, Shayna and Olivia; and his extended family.
A funeral service for Bernie will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Groman Eden Mortuary. Services will be officiated by Rabbi Michael Barclay, and will conclude graveside, in Eden Memorial Park. Flowers are being accepted.
Mr. Aronson is a former President of Temple Beth Torah.
