January 5, 1944 - June 18, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Marshall MacArthur, age 80, on June 18, 2024, in Mission, British Columbia. Marshall was born on January 5, 1944, in Bellshire, Scotland. He moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1961, where he lived and worked for many years.
On March 27, 1976, Marshall married his love Diane, with whom he shared a beautiful life for 48 years. He is survived by Diane, his daughters Fiona (Scott) and Erin, and his son Caleb (Annika), as well as his six grandchildren, Lily, Elsie, Porter, Davie, Felix, and Rory.
Marshall was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Janet, his sister Ailie, and his brother Stanley.
A celebration of Marshall’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia in Marshall’s memory.
Marshall will be remembered by his family and friends.
