In due course he settled in Mission with his wife, Ann, where they lived for the rest of their lives.
After working as a warehouseman for many years, Bill found his calling as a realtor, eventually owning his own company. Bill had a wonderful singing voice and was the frontman for several bands. Once on stage, behind a guitar and microphone, Bill transformed from quiet and reserved to joking and outgoing. He could get everyone out on the dance floor and having a good time.
Behind his gruff demeanor, Bill hid a soft heart. This was reflected in his dedication to his community, in particular in his volunteerism with Victim Services, the Hospice Society and the Mission Folk Music Festival.
Bill was a loyal and supportive family man and a good friend to many. He did his best to care for the people he loved and he will be forever missed.
Please join us in celebrating Bill’s life at the Sandman Banquet Hall at 32720 Simon Avenue in Abbotsford, BC on July 29th from 4-7 pm.
