In Bradner BC Youngest of eight and last surviving.

Bob met Vera Clarke from Hatzic Prairie in March 1947, they married May 26.

They adopted two children, Leslie Robert

Who presented them with a grandson Emerson

and Linda Louanne (William) Coghill

Who brought Sean Robert Desmond Cox

Lindsay Jane Elizabeth Cox and David Leslie Michael Cox to join thanksgiving dinners. Bob was well known as a mechanic. A dream garage at his disposal he tinkered, repaired, rebuilt and serviced many a machine.

Bob built roads in the District of Mission for 25 years and retired to assist Vera with their acreage. He laid claim to one garden which promptly became known as the pink toilet place. He volunteered many hours for the Hospital Auxiliary Cottage collecting the larger donations with his truck and a smile, a story or a joke.

Vera left us in 2019, Leslie followed her shortly after. The rest of the family mourns the loss of wonderful parents and grandparents. Bob and Vera can once again hold hands all day long.

Bob’s interment will be undertaken Friday Dec 17 at 1:30 in Hatzic Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held May 26, 2022 the 75th anniversary of their incredible marriage of 72 years.
