of Bob Stone after a chronic illness. He died in
the arms of his loving wife Denise, the love of
his life. He leaves to mourn his daughter Cherie,
her protector, and her four children, Krystal,
Kyle, Lei Lani and Dustin and his nephew
Burgess. He and Denise became guardian to
two nephews Dale and Alan Sanderson at
their young ages, after their mother
Huguette, Denise’s sister, took ill and passed
on in 1991. He was lovable ‘papa Bob’ to
Alan’s three children, Alia, Aiden, and Tyler.
He will be forever cherished by all. He will be
greatly missed by sister-in-law Monique and
brother-in-law Lucien Gobeil (Lou) and their
daughter Lisa and her husband Emile Wallack
and their children Chad, Tania and Lynne.
Bob was predeceased by his sister Trudy in
2004, her son Bobby Scott in 1993 and his
niece Lynne in 2000. Lynne left a husband
Garth and three children Dillon, Logan and
Bryton. Bob is fondly remembered by all of
them. Bob had a “joie de vivre,” made friends
everywhere he went and was a guy that
people always remembered even after a brief
encounter. He leaves a lot of good, fun-loving
memories to a lot of family and friends. The
family wish to thank the medical staff at the
Residence in Mission where Bob resided for
the past 4 months, for the respect and dignity
that all individuals deserve in the last chapter
of their lives. We appreciate the love and
support provided during his stay. A
Celebration of Life for Bob will be held at All
Saints Parish, 821 Fairfax St., Coquitlam, BC
on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. Funeral
