He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Juliette, daughters Deidra, Renée (Jared), and Randi, grandchildren, Jaiden and Casey, and by his siblings, Joseph and Sherry. He will be lovingly remembered by many dear relatives including the Lizotte, Proulx, and Lambke families, and missed by countless friends, near and far. He was predeceased by his parents John and Eleanor, and by his son, John Albert.
Born June 8, 1942, Jack grew up in Roblin MB. In 1966, he married his beautiful bride and they moved to BC, and to Mission in 1975. He spent his career in the flexographic printing industry, first as a pressman, then as production supervisor and finally in press ink sales. Jack was fiercely proud and loyal, with an extremely quick wit and sharp mind. He enjoyed golfing, taking road trips, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and beating everyone at Jeopardy.
Family and friends are welcome to attend service Thursday, April 3 at 11am, at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mission. In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted by the Kidney Foundation of Canada, who gave support generously during Jack’s last years.
