Ian took the road of hard work and honesty. Pivoting from an esteemed career in computers, to a revered position with the Government of Canada as well as service to his country in the Navy.
Intellectual, dynamic, as well as kind and reserved. Ian could hold a conversation on a vast array of topics; particularly politics, economics and music. Music was his soul and refuge. Ian attended a free concert in 1967, called The Summer of Love Concert in San Francisco. The headliners were Jimmi Hendrix and Jefferson Starship.
This concert left an indelible mark on this 21 year old lad.
John, AKA Ian, is predeceased by his three wonderful sisters, Sheila Maude Jones, Janet Carins Johnstone and Elizabeth Helen Lawton.
