Tony graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and attended Central Piedmont Community College. He was married to Janet Belk Little on January 20, 1973. They were married at Mt Harmony Baptist Church, where he was a member. Tony retired as a electronic technician from AT&T after forty-three years of service. Family time, going to the beach, and riding his motorcycle with family and friends were the things Tony enjoyed most.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Janet, their sons, Allen Martin Little (Chelsea), and Jeffrey Daniel Little (Sara), granddaughters, Madelyn Hannah Little, and Kora Leigh Little; brother -in -law, Richard Helms; sisters- in-law, Judy Long; and Jeanne Spencer (Kyle). He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buren and Jane Little, and sisters, Peggy Helms, and Pat Hoffecker Gilmore. We thank his doctors, William Burgess and Carmine Dalto and the staff at Presbyterian, Matthews, for the care and concern for Tony during his illness.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 12:00pm until 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, with a funeral service to immediately follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. The Reverend Dr. Buddy Pigg and Reverend Richard Tuttle will officiate. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery.
