Timothy C. Keel

He was born in Monroe on September 5, 1954 and was the son of the late Katherine Price Keel. Tim was a 1972 graduate of Independence High School and would go on to become the owner and operator of Tim Keel Grading, formally known as Keel grading service.

Tim was a hard worker and great provider for his family. He was also a giver of his time to others in need which included supporting the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

He had a strong Christian faith and his family meant everything to him. He was a loving dad and a great paw paw to his 3 grandchildren; Ava Rose, Sofia Gray and Zebulon Dee Privette.

He is survived by his daughters; Amanda Privette and her husband Amos; Lauren Hester and her husband Darren and by the mother of his children, Susan Keel.

Along with his mother he was preceded in death by his uncle, Tommy Price.

A visitation with the family will be held at 10am, Friday, April 15, 2016, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 120 Potter Rd South, Monroe NC 28111. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11am.

Interment will take place in Westley Chapel Cemetery.
