Born May 18, 1921, in Beckley, West Virginia, Rose was the daughter of the late Samuel Morton Brock and Deliah Ann Shoemaker Brock. She attended First Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina and retired as a supervisor with Greyhound Bus Lines after 46 years of service.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death on July 2, 1972, by her husband, Paul Ralph Norman.
She is survived by two nieces, Alice Ann Helmuth of Coldwater, Michigan and Martha Rose Broadhurst of Charlotte, North Carolina; and numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Rose will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Park, 1925 Harper Road, Beckley, West Virginia 25801.
