Rebecca Davis Walters

Mrs. Walters, age 87, of Indian Trail, died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. Born August 4, 1930 in Charlotte, she was the daughter of the late John Robert Davis and Susan Welch Davis. She grew up on the Catawba River in the Flint Hill Region of Charlotte and graduated from Berry Hill High School.

The service to celebrate the Life of Rebecca Davis Walters will be held 10:30 AM Friday, May 18th at Providence Baptist Church, 4921 Randolph Road, Charlotte. Interment will immediately follow in Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Furman Walters. Survivors include her children, Gary T Walters, Alan S Walters, Linda Walters Lanier, Jane Walters Starnes and Rebecca Walters Hudson; grandchildren, Josh, Sadie, Hunter, Chase, Savannah, Garrett, Seth, Cole and Jake; great grandchildren, Penny, Evelyn, Willow; and dog, Sam.
