Ray F. Beaver

He was born in Rowan County, NC on September 9, 1924. He was married to Kathrine (Kay) McCorkle on June 16, 1946. Ray retired from the US Postal Service with 28 years of service. He previously worked for Pneumafil Corp. of Charlotte and Cannon Mills of Kannapolis, NC.

He had a passion for history, reading, and genealogy.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Blackwell (Tony), of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, David Beaver (Jamie), of Arden, NC; granddaughters, Denise Parrott (Billy), of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Lynne Spence (Evan), of Black lick, OH; grandson, Paul Beaver (Amy), of Arden, NC; and brother, Bill Beaver (Martha) of Las Vegas, NV.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00p.m. December 28, 2017 at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 7632 Hood Rd, Charlotte, NC 28215.

Memorials may be made to a local Heart Association or Charity of your choice.
