Nora L. Miller

Nora graduated from West Rowan High School in 1978 and UNC Charlotte. She was proud of her 49ers and was happy to work for the university for over ten years. Helping children was important to Nora and especially her children. They were the rainbow of life for her and she was very involved in their activities. Baseball games and dance competitions became a way of life for Nora. She was also an animal lover, she always had a dog or cat and she enjoyed watching her hummingbirds.

Family was always a priority for Nora and her grandchildren were her pot of gold. Listening to music, playing Legos, and dancing happened regularly with everyone in her family. Her warmth and friendliness will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Nora was predeceased by her parents and her brother, James Lineberger, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Miller; her son, Daniel Miller (Rachel); her daughter, Jamie Williams (Thomas); her grandchildren, Candace Williams, Nolan Miller, Grayson Williams; her sisters, Ann Zimmerman, Onda Blevins (Mike), Iona Reavis; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at McEwen Funeral Home - Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Charlotte, NC. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.
