Margie, as she was known to her family, was a devoted wife to Ronnie for 49 years. She was a mother for 45 years. Margie spent 37 years working as a receptionist at a dental office.
She was the life of the party and always enjoyed getting together with friends and family for a good time. Her laugh was infectious and she always had a smile on her face.
Her grandchildren were the loves of her life.
She was predeceased by her parents; Leroy Franklin Elwood and Margaret Ethel Dixon.
Margie leaves behind her husband, Ronald White, her children; Justin (Holly) White and Lindsay (Shaun) Hartsell, grandchildren; Brody and Memphis White, Talan and Keller Hartsell and brother, Dennis F. Elwood.
A celebration of Margie's life will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00pm at Providence Baptist Church 5315 Hwy 49 South Harrisburg, NC 28075. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to the service.
