Lester "Buddy" Harold Ross

Mr. Ross retired as a testing technician of BellSouth, now AT&T, after 42 years of service and with his son, did paint contracting for 25 years. He was a member of Midwood Baptist Church. Mr. Ross was a sports enthusiast, especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sports activities while they were growing up.

The family will receive friends 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Sunday, May 24th at McEwen Funeral Service - Mint Hill Chapel. Service to celebrate the life of Lester “Buddy” Harold Ross will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with his pastor, Reverend Garry Baldwin, officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife of 63 ½ years, Betty Blalock Ross; two children, Beverly Taylor and husband, Chuck and Bruce Ross and wife, JoAnn; five grandchildren, Tracie Booker and husband, Austin, Jordan Taylor and wife, Erin, Evan Taylor and girlfriend, Mariel Mena, Amanda Starnes and husband, Kevin and Morgan Ross and boyfriend, Drew Holt; six great grandchildren, Avery, Peyton and Carson Booker, Kylie and Ava Taylor and William Starnes; and three siblings, Betty Jo, Julia and Edwin.
