Larry Brown Patterson

He was born in Mooresville, NC and was preceded in death by his parents, Shotwell Brown and Margaret Poole Patterson. Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce C. Patterson; two sons, Dave (Melissa) Patterson of Charlotte, NC; and John (Erin) Patterson of Boone, NC; a granddaughter, Lauren Patterson of Boone, NC; and a grandson, Hayden Patterson of Charlotte, NC; a sister, Lynn (Andy) Britz of Mooresville, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Patterson received his Associate’s Degree from Lees-McRae University in Banner Elk, NC, and his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating magna cum laude. He was a Systems Analyst with Bellsouth, and later with EDS. He was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and served his church family faithfully in many capacities.

A memorial service will be held at eleven AM on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 1900 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC . The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
