Kathy shared her love by blessing my family and me with plants. When my children were in middle school, Kathy took them and some friends on a tour of her backyard and taught them about a variety of plants. Her passion captivated their interests. She later brought my girls some succulents and they loved those little plants. 

I observed a tree in our neighborhood that had the most beautiful drooping flowers. Kathy and I lived close to each other, so we both passed it daily as we drove in and out of our neighborhood.  I asked Kathy about the tree, and she explained it was a trumpet tree. Within a week, she rang my doorbell and presented me with a beautiful, painted tile of a trumpet tree. I still treasure this today. I think of her every time I walk past it in my kitchen. 

Last fall, Kathy rang my doorbell and asked me to walk to her van. To my surprise, she handed me a large, round container of a variety of succulents. It looked like it was straight out of Home and Garden magazine.  It blessed me so much. When she drove away, I knew she was going to bless at least 10 other people with the same gift. Kathy Malone was a giver. She was a friendly person who enjoyed blessing others. I am very thankful to have known her.


Aunt kathy use to ride all us cousins around in her car. She had so many of us in the car the muffler was dragging the road. But she didnt care she would just laugh everytime the muffler hit the road.  We all laughed as she drove us all to see Paw Paw Roland. She use to tell us birdie birdie in the sky why u shot me in the eye thank God a cow cant fly !! She was so beautiful inside and out. We all luved her so much.  Her and uncle George would always have reunions and to celebrate Paw Paw Rolands birthday at their house
 So many of us gathering together. Now we will all gather one last time to celebrate her life and tell her how much we luved her. Luv and kisses aunt kathy i will always have u in my heart.
