Julie Ann Wallace

Julie was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and has been a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church for the past 16 years and Shamrock Drive Baptist Church before that since childhood. She graduated from Garringer High School, CPCC, and UNC-Chapel Hill. She worked for OrthoCarolina for seventeen years as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and was also a Certified Canine Rehab Practitioner, a Certified Personal Trainer, and most recently a stay-at-home kitty mom to two very spoiled and lovable cats.

Julie loved animals: cats, dogs, dolphins, sea turtles, little fish friends, birds, and more! Basically if it had fins, fur, or feathers, it also had her heart. Julie's favorite thing to do was travel: from California & Central America to the Caribbean & Mediterranean Seas. She would joke "next time we just buy a one-way ticket to Italy".

We thankfully know that Julie's eternity in heaven was bought by Jesus when she trusted Him for salvation and His power over death. Her hope for many years has been that everyone else would also trust Him. There’s no purchase necessary - but advance reservations are compulsory!

Julie is survived by her husband of 15 years, Timothy Wallace; kitties Mrs. WhiskerPuss (13) and Buck (10); parents Jesse Turner and Marguerite "Margo" Turner of Charlotte, NC; brother David Turner (Melody) of Blacksburg, SC: sister Suzanne Price (David), niece Lauren Price, and nephew Logan Price of Weddington, NC.

Funeral and worship celebration will be held at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Latin American Campus on Saturday December 3rd at 3:00pm with family receiving friends beforehand at 1:00pm. Light snacks to follow the service.
