John Alois Turk

He was born on October 18, 1942 in Cleveland, OH to the late John S. and Josephine Strnad Turk.

John was a retired Castrophe Insurance Adjuster. He attended Euclid Ohio public schools and attended Kent State University.

Mr. Turk is survived by his wife of 39 years, Theresa Stanton Turk; daughters, Suzanne Gulledge (Gerald), Jennifer Patterson (Gary), Amy Triggs and Sarah Stanton Turk; grandchildren, Andrew Crowell, Cody Patterson, McKenzie Patterson, Anna-Catherine Triggs, and Vivien Stanton Morton; great grandchildren, Mason, Maddox and Daphne; sister, Joida Evans (Dick) and nephews, Kasey Mitchell and Tod Thomas.

A graveside service will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 14th of January, 2017 at Evergreen City Cemetery in Charlotte.

The family will receive friends and celebrate John’s life from four until six o’clock in the evening on Saturday, the 14th of January, 2017 at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227. The family would like for everyone to bring their best John Turk story to share!
