John Adams Murray, Jr., of Charlotte, passed away on November 1, 2012. He was born on May 11, 1944 in South Boston, VA.
John is survived by his wife of 38 years; Carolyn Murray, his children; John Adams Murray III, Nicole Flinton and Derek (Haley) Murray, grandchildren; John Adams Murray IV, Michael, Kelsey, Colin and Emily Freitas, Harley Flinton and Lawson Murray, great grandchild; Remington, sister; Dianne (Brad) Smith, brother; Thomas (Debra) Loftis, Jr. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 3:00pm at Blair Road United Methodist Church 9135 Blair Rd. Charlotte, NC 28227. The family will receive friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or Blair Road United Methodist Church.
