So very sorry to hear of Michael's passing. When you hear the expression, "He was a great guy." it fit Michael to a tee. I learned my strong work ethic in no small part due to working for Michael at Norand. I have many great memories of hanging out with Michael. My sincere condolences to Janet and Michele, he will be missed.

I was shocked to hear the news of Michael's passing. I will always remember him as my brother Dan's best friend. The invention a ball game called "Larelli Ball". It was a deflated volley ball & a broken broom stick. Also bumper pool which we would played in their garbage and the infamous game of RISK. They had tournaments that would go on for days. To the entire Leone family.....many sympathies for your sudden loss. You will forever be in my prayers.

It took a while before I could bring myself to write. Michael was truly one of a kind and there's no question I'm a better person for having known him. We had so many good times together for so many years. I'll always cherish the friendship and memories and I'll not hesitate to share my personal Michael stories when I find myself in the company of any of his many, many friends. Michael was my best friend since High School when he lived right next door.
We were the best of friends and I was his protector.  We lost touch over the years but, he got my email from my sister and we reconnected a few years back.  I am so sorry for the Leones' loss.  God Bless you all.  Michael will still always be my best friend ever.

Just wanted you to know that I was very sorry to hear of Michael's passing. The fellows at the Homer City, PA. American Legion told me this morning. Mrs. Leone, I met Michael about three years ago. He came to the Homer City American Legion with Ed Lorelli. Your husband was very kind and thoughtful. He would always take time to answer my questions pertaining to  my camera, my cell phone or my computer. When I first meant your husband, I was getting ready to have my knees replaced. I did them a year apart. Every time, he came to the Legion, he would ask me how they were doing. I'll never forget his true concern and his kindness. Both of you and your family are in my prayers.

Once Michael arrived the event always became more enjoyable and easier. He was the most knowledgeable, giving, kind and thoughtful of men. A true professional to work with and so enjoyable company when we relaxed afterwards. There are so many fond memories of him, invariably humorous. They will be remembered and retold many, many times. Never forgotten.

Michael was my friend and I am very sad he is gone.  I knew him for about 18 years.  Whenever we got together we would talk about our favorite subjects: our daughters and music. We were so sad and shocked to hear that Michael had died.  Rod and I were talking recently about our good memories of hot tub conversations with Michael and you, Janet,  We will always cherish those memories, and we wish you and Michele peace and comfort during this time.

Terrry and I want to express our deepest condolences to the entire Leone family and especially Janet and Michele.  Michael was a friend to everyone he worked with and was committed to helping everyone at work.   I recall my first encounter with Michael early 1986 when he was running the Dallas service center.    I was trying to get something done for a large, national company for their equipment.   I was turned down by a few within the company because I was told it was a sales issue and not something service had to worry about.   I called Michael, explained what I was trying to do - do I need to finish the story.   I think everyone who knew Michael knows that he took care of it.   He took care of that and for the next 29 years he has taken care of everything.   

I will miss him.  He worked with me as a partner for many years and we talked about everything.   He was very proud of his father and his father's service to our country.   He enjoyed spending many of his years as a youth in Germany, he loved to talk about his mother and brothers.   But most of all, he talked about Janet and Michele.   He was so open with his feelings about Janet being his "rock" in his life.   His life was made complete by having this beautiful daughter.  While I have only met Michele once for about five minutes, I know her very well by the stories Michael has shared.

Michael is no longer with us in the physical sense, but he will always be with me spiritually and as testatment to what I believe God wanted to create in a very good man.

I was blessed to have Michael as a manager for the past three years and will forever be influenced by his service to others. Truly, he was the "greatest among us".
I will miss his leadership, sense of humor and stories, both personal and business in our bi-weekly SE conference calls and one on one conversations. Michael left no doubt that "family was first" as he affectionately, jokingly and lovingly spoke of Janet, Michelle and the rest of his family.

I am utterly stunned as I read Mike's obit. Jason McManus just called with the news of his passing and I just can't imagine that it's real. The last time I saw Mike was the day we crossed paths at O'Hare airport in June of 2005, just completely by chance, and man did we have a laugh about it. We had some great times back in the little tech room at Tandy Advanced Products in Richland Hills, Texas w/ Mike, Jason, and Richard Zotolla repairing TR(aSh)80's in about '78, '79? That little crew was all that made some of those days bearable, and I remember several occasions when we all convened at either El Snoopy's in Arlington or Spencer's Corner near TCU in Ft Worth to decompress when I had a gig. Eventually they all jumped ship to Norand and I stayed behind until I finally got my band off the ground. Cathy and I always loved the Christmas card that Janet would send every year with a new family picture featuring Michelle as she grew up. To Janet, Michelle and all the family, may Our Lord grant you the Peace that surpasses all understanding in this trying time.

Janet, as you can see from Michael's many friends, he was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to meet him. He was just a real nice person. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Our prayers are with you and your family.

We have lost a wonderful man who was always ready with a smile and a hug.  There was a softness in Michael that made everyone feel his caring and warm heart.  My sincere sympathy is with Janet and Michele during this most difficult time.  The memories of Michael will last forever in our hearts.

I loved working with Michael at the Open Golf in the UK each year, I learnt more from him about professional conduct than any textbook could ever describe. Exceptionally hardworking, dedicated, calm under any crisis and full of fun at the same time, equally at ease with everyone at all levels.

A VERY devastating time for anyone who worked with this wonderful man on the Golf Open or European Tour, sadly passing at the mere age of 59. Many a late night, beer, long chat and AMAZING story of his life experiences, us engineers were exceptionally grateful of time spent in his company. He came from the US each year to help us with the Golf Open and never moaned, and was the most chilled man I have ever met!!! Would drop anything to help you! Thoughts are with you all on your loss!!!! I still cant believe being so young and always looking so healthy :(!!! A drink will be raised and many classic stories will be retold! I knew Michael from my earliest days at Norand and he was one of the most genuine, caring and committed employees I have ever worked with.
