Doris A. Young

Doris worked for Enro for many years operating a sewing machine, then later in life went to work for Wal-Mart as a greeter.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Lana Woods and husband Ron of Charlotte; granddaughter, Jennifer Shuler of Matthews; great granddaughters, Courtney Shuler of Indian Trail, Cheyenne Shuler of Charlotte, and Cassie Shuler of Matthews; great great granddaughter, Savannah Shuler of Indian Trail and great great grandson, Hunter Lohnas of Charlotte.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Young; sister, Imogene Miller; and brother, Ralph Woodward.

A visitation was held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel with a service to follow at 3:00 pm. A committal service was held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Magnolia Memorial Gardens at Calvary Church.
