William Edward McCafferty, age 95, of Wayzata (formerly of Palm Harbor, Florida), passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2020.
He was born in Prescot, Iowa on June 15th, 1925. William is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Edith McCafferty. He is survived by his children, Robert, Stuart, and Barbara McCafferty.
William was a proud service member, and enjoyed his time at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. His devotion and commitment to the Navy continued throughout his entire life, and he will be laid to rest at the prestigious Naval Academy in the coming months.
