He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Pun Nam Kwak; his children, Sue Yoon (Won Tae), Hyun Suk Olsen (David), Chong Kwak (Yoke), Chi Yong and Chul Kwak; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Myong Soon Chung, Myong Duk Flower and Myong Ja Peach.
Visitation 6-8 PM Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Korean United Methodist Church of Minnesota, 701 8th Avenue Northwest, New Brighton, Minnesota. Funeral service 11 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home, 2250 St. Anthony Boulevard Northeast, Minneapolis, Minnesota with visitation one half hour prior. Private interment Sunset Cemetery.
