Shantece "Boo" Nicole Tollefson

On August 12, 1995, the angels in heaven rejoice as Shantece Nicole Tollefson was born to Tammy Tollefson and Walter Butler in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was raised in Minneapolis and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia at the tender age of twenty, to further her academic journey.

A graduate of Hopkins High School and Clark Atlanta University, Shantece was filled with ambition and optimism. She was a first -generation college graduate and achieved a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She selflessly used it as an opportunity to make a wonderful impact on the many children she helped. She was driven by her desire to help others in any way possible. She expressed unconditional love by traveling long distances to be present at every family event or just spend time with them.

Shantece developed a strong love for roller-skating and it eventually became a part of who she was. She dedicated many nights to roller-skating with friends at her favorite skating rink, Cascade. She lives a faith-filled life, accepting Christ at an early age and attended church services and bible study regularly.

Shantece was a cherished friend and family member, and a bright presence in the lives of all who knew her. She shared boundless joy, an infectious laugh, genuine kindness and her huge heart. She was a lover, a giver, and attained the greatest achievement of all, selflessness. Most importantly, Shantece loved God! "Every Act Of Selflessness Is A Dedication Of Faith"

On August 7, 2023, Shantece Nicole Tollefson gained her wings and rejoined her heavenly family, including Grandma Shirley, Grandpa Lyle, Grandpa Walter, and Uncle Richard. She is survived by Tammy Tollefson (Mother), Walter Butler (Father), Savannah Caldwell (Sister), Tayvon Tollefson (Brother), Bella (Beloved Dog), great-grandma, grandma, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, cousins, and friends. While Shantece may have only walked this Earth for a short time, her angelic spirit will live in the hearts of many people that she touched
