Preceded in death by husband of 69 years, Harvey; son, Merlyn; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; parents, Edward and Louise; brother, Donald.
Ruth enjoyed playing the piano which she had done since she was a child. She loved her family and being home to raise her children.
Ruth will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by son, Dennis (Mavis); daughters, Marlys (Douglas) Duren; Debra (David) Nightingale; daughter-in-law, Barbara Brandt; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Brandt; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life Thursday, August 2nd 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at St. Matthew Lutheran Church 4101 Washington St. NE, Columbia Heights.
