Louise Olive Cotter

Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Esther; husband, Bill; son, Gregory; siblings, Earl Jr, Bill, David, Jay, and Lori.

Lou will be deeply missed by so many, including her son, Bill (Lindsey); daughter in law, Joanne; brother, Maurice (Renee); grandchildren, Nathan, Ben, and Jake; great-grandchildren, Kieran, Easton, and Finley. As well as so many others.

Lou graduated vocational high school for nursing in 1951. She also participated in speed skating and medaled in volleyball as well as working in the hospital as a nurse's aide. She later went on to work at Sears Roebuck Co., where she met Bill the love of her life. They were married for 62 years until Bill went to wait for her in heaven in February of 2019.

Lou truly enjoyed being a member of Woodcrest Church and Academy, where she helped in the snack bar and volunteered wherever she could. She was a non-stop caring person and truly enjoyed making others happy.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Woodcrest Baptist Church (6875 University Ave NE, Minneapolis). Visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial at Sunset Cemetery.
