Kendall Richard Johnson

Kendall Richard Johnson passed away unexpectedly on July 4th, 2023. Kendall was born September 7, 1936 in Clayton Township, Wisconsin to Richard and Jeannette Johnson. He grew up in South Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1954. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in September 1962 and retired from Kraus Anderson Construction after 45 years of service in 1999.

He retired back to Rice Lake, Wisconsin where he could enjoy his outdoor sport, especially the ATV/Snowmobile Club. He was an avid car collector and always looked forward to a good game of Liar's Poker with his cousins.

Kendall is survived by former wife, Donna (Abrahamson) Johnson; children, Terri Johnson, Randy Johnson (Patti), Renee Johnson and Mark Johnson; grandchildren, Michele (Kevin) Barthelme, Kristina (Tom) Zera, Samantha (Russell) Hill, Weston (Randi Lynn) Johnson, and Krista Johnson; great-grandchildren; Tristian and Alex Barthelme, Sophia Zera and Grace Hill.

Preceded in death by sister; Sandra Hultgren.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 21 at 11:00 am with visitation starting at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis 55418.
