Judith Ann Thornton passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021. Judy was born on September 13, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN to James and Evelyn Rigg. She graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1957 and lived most of her life in the Robbinsdale/Crystal area. In 1961 she married Hillard “Bud” Thornton. They later divorced. She is survived by her sons Scott and John (Crisandra), sister Marilyn, niece Dana and nephews Don and Bradley. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Lawrence, brother-in-law Donald and former husband. A private graveside service celebrating her life is planned for 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Sunset Cemetery in Minneapolis.
