Howard is survived by his wife Vonnie of nearly 63 years and his children: Paula (Scott) Starker, Shari (Timothy) McMullen, Daniel (Denise) & Julie (Daniel) Nentl, and 9 grandchildren: Samuel (Sarah) & Benjamin (Allison) McMullen, Amanda Starker, Morgan, Taylor & Ryan Seim and Eleanor, Griffin & Henry Nentl.
Howard enriched our world as a Christian, guardian, keeper of tradition, lutefisk lover, administrator, inventor/patent holder, military man, education advocate, Electrical Engineer, farmer, problem-solver, wood worker/builder, loyal family man & friend.
Visitation will begin at 11am on Monday, June 3rd at Christ the King Lutheran Church 1900 7th St. NW, New Brighton, MN, followed by memorial service at 12pm; luncheon to follow. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
