She was preceded in death by husband, Seth R. Fisher; son, Bryan Lewis Fisher; grandsons, Todd Fisher & Scott Fisher; sisters, Dorothy, Mary, Margaret, Louise; and brother, Ralph.
Harriet was the eldest daughter of Orin L. Kipp and Leona Belle (Chapman) Kipp. She is survived by brother, Paul Kipp; sons, Ronald (Althea), Bruce (Marilyn), Terry (Juanita), Errol (Liz), and Lawrence; daughter, Barbara (John) Cloues; daughter-in-law, Linda; grandchildren, Dan, Reed, Bob, Jim, John, Ann Sbragia, Lincoln, Lynnette Orkin, LeeAnn Madsen, Mike, Tom, Steve, Rick, Kelly, Mark, Kim Earle, Tracy Parkes, Susan Cailteux and Adam Cloues; great-grandchildren, Marnie, Carrie, Jessica, Craig, Jamie, Becky, Ronni, Nick, Sara, Danielle, Nicole, Christopher, David, Nate, Tony, Jake, Derek, Joshua, Etienne, Tyler, Jeff, Demi, Ronnie, Nick, Amanda, Courtney, Kira and Addison; and one great-great-grandchild, Brayden.
Harriet was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Harriet provided leadership in the Ramsey County 4-H Club program for 35 years. She was employed by Minnesota Fabrics and by Sears. Harriet was an active member, in her youth, at Hamline United Methodist Church and attended Hamline University. She was a member of the Hamline Study Club, Sunrise UMC, Sunrise Friendship Circle, Sunrise Chancel Choir, the Lake Hubert Women's Club, Nisswa Garden Club, the Midland Co-op KIT Club and served as a board member on the Heather Ridge Homeowners Association. Harriet loved to sing, sew, travel and truly enjoyed her years living with Seth at their lake home on Lake Hubert.
Our thanks go to the staff at Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills, the Presbyterian Homes Hospice workers and volunteers and a special thans goes out to nurse Sue Roussel, nurse Mary Beth and Chaplain Chris.
A celebration of Harriet's life will be held at Sunrise United Methodist Church in Mounds View, MN at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 15, 2011, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Cemetery. A luncheon after her interment will be provided at Sunrise UMC by the United Methodist Women.
