Preceded in death by parents and beloved dog, Peaches.
Survived by wife of 52 years, Irene; children, Mark (Tammy) & Lynn Maresh; grandchildren, Tosh, Corey, KC (Shannon), Amanda, Stephanie, Katelyn & Jessica; great-grandchildren, Trey, Isaac & Eden; brother, Gint (Phyllis); sister, Iris Gloege; many nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
Galen was a world-class prankster, stained glass artist, squirrel hunter/trapper, photographer, astronomer & traveler. His family was extremely important to him. He always made sure we knew we were loved.
A Celebration of Galen's Life will be held at 11AM, THURSDAY with gathering one hour prior at Sunset Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd. NE, Minneapolis, MN.
