Age 86 of Minneapolis. Died peacefully March 11, 2010 surrounded by his family. Donald has joined his wife Viola, who passed after 52 years of marriage. He is survived by their children, Julie (Keith) Mastin, Brad, Dan, John, Virginia, Larry (partner, David Noyes, Sr.) and Robert; grandchildren, Zachary (Nadia) Pappas, David, Theo (Laura Demmer) and Gabriel Luikart, Anne Dillon, David, Jr. (Siobhan) and Michael (Katie) Noyes; great-grandchildren, Paisley and Thea Pappas; Annie and Maggie Noyes; Sofia and Lola V. Flynn-Noyes; Donald’s siblings, Paul (Irene), Betty (Vern) Johnson, Marjorie (Gilbert) Watson; Viola’s loving sister, Gail Syverson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. God creates a family. Donald was a WWII Veteran and 40+ year employee of E.J. Longyear Company. Funeral Service 11AM MONDAY w/ visitation 1 hr. prior, all at Sunset Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Cemetery. Memorials preferred to The American Lung Association.
