Donald G. Anderson

Age 83 of Minneapolis. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 6/6/14.

Preceded in death by infant son; parents, Clarence and Eva; brother, Wayne.

Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Betty; children, Mark (Sarah) Anderson, Scott (Deb) Anderson, Shirley Anderson, Linda Anderson and Timmy Anderson; blessed with 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grand-children; many other relatives and friends.

Don was employed with Control Data as a Manager of Air Traffic Control and was a longtime bartender at Dustys Bar in NE Minneapolis. Donnie loved fast pitch softball and was induc-ted into the East Side Old Timers Hall of Fame in 2005. He cherished the time spent at their cabin. He will be remembered for the great stories he told. He had a love of sports, fishing, gardening and traveling with Betty. A special thank you to the staff at North Memorial Hospital for their loving care and support.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday 6/14 at The Church of St. Bridget, 3811 Emerson Ave. N., Minneapolis. Visitation 4-7 PM Friday 6/13 at Kapala-Glodek Funeral Home, 230 13th Ave. NE., Minneapolis and 1 hour prior to Mass. Interment at Crystal Lake Cemetery.
