Arlene was preceded in death by husband, Arvid John Birkeland, Sr.: son, Arvid John Birkeland, Jr.

Survived by daughter, Carol (Rob) Mahowald; son, Eugene (Gloria) Perry; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ryan), Sean, Tara and Derek Lynch, Michael, Joey, Danny Perry, Sean and Tanya Mahowald.

I can't describe how much you meant to me and I will always love you. You were lovely that never passed, but passed into loveliness.”

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation starting at 10:00 am at Sunset Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Mpls. Interment in Sunset Cemetery.
