Born on May 14, 1945, in Sacramento, California, Michael lived a life filled with adventure and dedication. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam conflict as an aircraft mechanic and crew chief on C-130 aircraft. Following his military service, he continued his commitment to helping others as a firefighter in Daly City, California.
Michael had a deep love for the outdoors and pursued many passions throughout his life. A licensed private pilot and certified scuba diver, he embraced both the skies and the sea with enthusiasm. His creativity shone through his work with stained glass and woodworking, reflecting his meticulous craftsmanship and artistic spirit. He was also a skilled handyman who took pride in maintaining and improving his surroundings. In addition to these pursuits, Michael was an entrepreneur who owned his own business, The Indoor Oasis.
He is survived by his sister Leslie and brothers Steven and Andy. He was predeceased by his longtime companion Kim and his mother Helen.
A beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many, Michael will be deeply missed by those who knew him. His humor and zest for life were contagious right up until the end. May God hold him in His arms and welcome him into heaven.
