Bruce Roland Applegate, age 75, passed away peacefully, with his family at his bedside, on May 31, 2023.
Bruce was born on October 24, 1947, in Berkeley, CA. He graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1966.
Bruce was a Deputy Sheriff for Contra Costa County, CA for 10 years, a Volunteer Firefighter for Suisun County, CA for many years,
a Safeway truck driver for many years, and a Relief Supervisor for Kirkwood Ski Resort.
Bruce is predeceased by his parents, Jess and Betty Applegate; his sister, Susan Applegate-McDonald; and his son, Shawn Applegate.
Bruce will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his vast knowledge of useless information.
His interment will be at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville, NV.
